Only 10 days left to The North Face Polish Freeskiing Open 2011 powered by FIAT

In less than 2 weeks riders from more than 13 European countries will take part in the most awaited Polish freeski event. They will compete for prizes worth nearly 45 000 PLN.

Friday 28th of January is the official training and qualifying day. In the evening - during the Night Session, the lights and energetic music served by well-known Dj’s, will encourage skiers to show their best tricks on rails. However the best of them should rather take it easy and brace for semi-finals and finals at Saturday. For the first time in history of PFO Big Air Finals will be held in the evening with artificial light.

- Since few years Rails Night Session is PFO highlight. This year we decided to go one step further and run Big Air finals in that special, spectacular setting. – says TNF PFO event coordinator Andrzej Lesiewski.

Winners will divide among themselves 15 000 PLN in cash. Moreover, sponsors of the event Sony Vaio, Armada, The North Face, BERN, provide their own prizes. Three best unsponsored juniors will get a wild card to The North Face Ski Challenge presented by GORE-TEX finals in Val Thorens.

Works at the Harenda slope has also been started so competition venue will be ready for riders to show their best tricks.  After the finals there will be time for traditional integration in Ampstrong Club in Zakopane. Red Bull will take care of the great party atmosphere together with the glorious music trio - Dj Benito, Dj Prescot oraz Dj Nie mam dość.
